Clonlum Holiday Cottages

Cottage was of a good standard, in an excellent location for a quiet and private stay, and also had very good amenities.

This cottage exceeded my expectations on all measures. I can tell a lot of thought and creativity went into the design and structure of it. It's the cosiest place I ever did stay. For anyone wanting to know there was coffee, milk, condiments, cutlery, dishes, cookware, towels, loo roll, kitchen roll, extra on beds pillows, extra bed wear under sofa, dishwasher (with tablets), disinfectant sprays, washing machine, tumbler dryer, TV's, hot tub, first aid kit, wood burning stove, oil heating/radiators, shower gel, hand wash. (P.S, I wanna thank what I assume was a female, for putting the wall mounted mirror that pulls out above the sink. My makeup never looked so good.)

Stunning location and views. Perfect, quiet little house. It was great for our weekend away for family wedding. Even attention to small things like leaving us dishwasher tablets and tea/coffee so that our arrival was very comfortable and we could relax straight away. Area was closed off and very safe to let the kids run about. Small play park, swings etc, is a great little touch as well. We didn't use the hot-tub, but if we had stayed longer it would definitely have been great.

The property was easily accessible from nearby Newry and had lots of necessities even closer by (e.g., petrol, cafes, supermarkets, pubs). It still managed to feel secluded and private, surrounded by stunning Irish mountains.

We stayed in the annex on the right. The property was spotless and provided all the amenities we needed. We found that fresh milk had been left for us, along with a packet of chocolate biscuits, which were a lovely touch. We hired a car and were able to park in very close proximity to the property. The owner (Rowan) was very kind and emailed us over the course of the week to ensure that our stay was as smooth as possible. Overall a really lovely place to stay.
